The cover is cute, but does not quite manage to convey the hilarity that ensues in this book. Rocky and Blossom are two wee sheep who enjoy the typical activities of most young ne’er-do-well sheep: running with scissors, sunbathing on train tracks, and most recently, aspiring to eat the grass on the highest part of the mountain. It’s enough to make Murphy (the sheepdog) go crazy. He warns them of the dangers of wandering off alone (wolves, getting lost, crazed knitters), but Rocky and Blossom won’t give up so easily.
The illustrations are perfect for the cheeky and mischievous text and it’s the perfect book for naughty kids, patient shepherds, or crazed knitters!
